Stick chair
A small chair exploring the relationship between a shaped seat, slender sticks, and a broad backrest.
Made for Isaac, this small stick chair brings a shaped wooden seat together with slender back sticks, arms, and a broad crest. The exposed construction gives the chair its character: each member has a clear place in the whole.
The photographs follow the chair from fitting and assembly at the bench to the finished object, showing its proportions from the front and side.
